I’m Madi Lang, your BA Cultural Concierge. I create highly individual, customized itineraries ~ so that you can enjoy the very events and experiences that lead to falling in love with Buenos Aires. It is my responsibility to handle arrangements to ensure that you pay fair prices for accommodations, transportation and events. This is true of working with hotel or apartment arrangements, guides and drivers, , taxi/boat/bus services, cell phone usage and other issues so that you can feel confident in your purchases and expenditures.
Born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, I began traveling at an early age (Thanks Mom and Dad). As a child and teenager with relentless homesickness, going away to college was my first breath of liberty. Studying abroad during the summers in Italy and Spain, I fell in love with the sensation of international learning and discovery. At the University of Richmond I studied Business Administration and Leadership Studies and graduated with enough savings to escape to Egypt, Turkey, and southern Europe. After months of freezing through an Italian winter, I headed for sunnier pastures. While working in a community center, an apartment rental agency and a Spanish language school, I became fluent in Spanish and built a life full of friends and family. Buenos Aires has been my home ever since. We share a heartbeat. I look to share its elegance, history and local flavor with anyone who dares to dive in.
